· Manages the daily operations of the dispatch team including but not limited to:

· 5+ years of previous dispatch experience within the transportation industry

Strong written and oral communication skills.

24-hour Support - Sr. Operations Managers onsite

Tuition Reimbursement (Centralized Education Fund)

Minimum of 5 years recent acute care hospital experience, Emergency Department preferred

A minimum of four years of relevant experience required to include a minimum of two years emergency management or continuity experience.

Experience with program management is required.

Certified Emergency Manager or comparable state emergency management certification is preferred.

Develop, facilitate and evaluate emergency management and continuity exercises for both the Systemwide Emergency Support Team and campus EOC teams.

Manage and facilitate systemwide emergency management and continuity training courses and webinars.

Experience with higher education institutions preferred.

Minimum five (5) years recent clinical experience

Experience developing and facilitating strategies consistent with the principles of Organizational Health

Demonstrated experience in financial principles and applications (business planning, budget preparation)

Baccalaureate degree in a health-related discipline

Master’s degree relevant to the position (Nursing, Health Administration, Business) considered an asset

Demonstrated commitment to employee and self-development and continuous quality improvement

High level of attention to detail, analytical skills along with time management skills to be able to meet deadlines

10+ years of experience required, co-op experience would be considered a benefit

Experience in emergency spill response, environmental investigation, and remediation

Assist other team members and project managers with field work or technical expertise as needed

Open to travel and outdoors work in remote areas

Previous experience working in a consulting environment would be an asset

Requirement to have previous project management experience and estimator experience

Monitor financial performance of project throughout execution to ensure budgetary performance and effective management of scope change

Competent in conflict and crisis management.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science , Project Management

Operations experience is an asset, but not a requirement

Manages assigned projects, ensuring effective teamwork and communication, high standards of work quality and organizational performance and continuous learning.

Sound knowledge of risk management and best practice related to patient and staff safety and continuous quality improvement.

Knowledge of scheduling and staffing principles and experience with staffing.

Sound labour and employee relations skills - experience in a unionized environment.

Strong leadership skills including demonstrated ability to work independently, leveraging stakeholders to make effective decisions and support patients and staff.

Demonstrated superior problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Broad knowledge of patient care population service challenges and program/ service research.

Demonstrated proficiency in program planning, financial and human resource management, oral and written communication and interpersonal effectiveness

Minimum five (5) years recent clinical experience in a position included in this portfolio

Experience developing and facilitating strategies consistent with the principles of Organizational Health

Bachelor’s Degree in a health related discipline

Master's Degree or Leadership certificate an asset
