5 years Industrial Electrician experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Welder Red Seal or recognized equivalent Trade Qualification.

Minimum of 30 months documented welding experience.

CWB All Position SMAW Welding Ticket to visual and X-Ray Standards with at least 6 months remaining validity.

CWB All Position FCAW Welding Ticket to Visual and X-Ray Standards with at least 6 months remaining validity.

Proof of recent use of the above processes within the 3 months prior to hire.

Must possess construction and industrial electricalexperience.

Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.

Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

Fabricates, installs and/or runs conduit, 3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.

Must be a Certified Electrical Journeyperson

Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.

Grade 12 education with strong math skills.

Holds a current Trades Qualification certification, interprovincial standing, or exemption.

Provide coaching and support to apprentices and helpers, fostering a collaborative and skilled workforce.

Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical experience in the Greater Vancouver

Knowledgeable in all practical and theoretical facets of the electrical construction trade.

Good communication and writing skills with the ability to maintain a daily log.

PLC and HMI programming changes and troubleshooting including modification and calibration of equipment; weight scales VFD, Servomotors and network communications experience.

2-3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)

The Electrician is responsible for performing maintenance activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment to produce quality products.

Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.

Repair, troubleshooting and installation of machinery including electrical and electronic equipment, control systems and automation

Tuition reimbursement and a focus on training/education

At least two years' experience as a qualified journeyman technician

Experience with bucket trucks is considered an asset

Bonus pay and banked hours

A valid Canadian drivers license in good standing

Must be a certified Red Seal Electrician Industrial electrical experience is required

The Electrician will also routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components.

Experience with maintenance and repair of electrical components

Advanced computer skills in MS Excel and Word, familiarity with Databases, IP networks, and packaging automation is an asset.

Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician Certification
