Job Description

The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all electrical issues on production equipment, as well as maintaining electrical systems on the physical building structure.


  • Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician with strong working knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code
  • Understand and apply the Electrical Safety Code at all times
  • Work as a member of the Maintenance team to complete scheduled PM’s in a timely manner, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our PM program and the equipment
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior tradespersons
  • Experience with PLC’s, variable frequency drives and motion control
  • Experience with printing and high-speed packaging equipment would be considered an asset.
  • Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment
  • College diploma in an Electrical program
  • Will be working a rotating, 12 hour continental shift schedule (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
  • Complete detailed work logs for all repairs, to help our predictive maintenance process.
  • Other duties as required.
