Cascades Containerboard Packaging - Richmond is located at 3300 Viking Way, Richmond, BC. CCP - Richmond has been offering custom made packaging to the Lower Mainland of BC and beyond for over 50 years. Currently we are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance Team.

• The starting rate for the position is $47.27/hour

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will have the following main responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Be able to work 8- and 12-hour shifts.
• Be available for a three-shift rotation including days, afternoons, and graveyards.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
• In depth knowledge and experience with PLCs, AB, and solid understanding of electrical and process instrumentation diagrams

• 5 years Industrial Electrician experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Completion of Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate
