Proven project management success with ability to set priorities and manage multiple competing priorities

More than 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience in a professional fundraising organization

Experience in video production, social media, and/or graphic design an asset

Superior writing and editing skills with a track record of accurate, thorough and professional work

Manage and maintain all stewardship and recognition documentation and tracking

More than 2 years assisting or leading a donor stewardship and recognition program

Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems and programs.

A second language would be considered an asset to support a positive donor experience.

Physical requirements for the role include the ability to lift weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs.).

Organizational and time management skills

University and/or college education in a related field

Experience working with women and children in areas of poverty, violence, trauma and homelessness

Excellent observation and listening skills

Ability to manage conflicting priorities simultaneously with the ability to prioritize

Respond to donor correspondence and queries across a range of media including phone, email and social media

Knowledge of fundraising and receipting requirements.

Manage Donor Services staff related and supervise all donation processing.

Oversee migration of data entry and receipting into Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Oversee donor record updates with monthly giving attributes, and ensure monthly EFT files are sent to the Finance Department on time.

Oversee the monthly reconciliation in partnership with the Finance Department

Manage the recruitment, orientation, day-to-day supervision, performance appraisal, and training of the Donor Services team.

• Advanced skills in database report generation and data management.

• Management of insurance premiums to be paid and then collected from donors

• Maintain systems for the proper management of documents.

Data entry and maintenance of data integrity:

• More than 5 years of relevant experience working in book-keeping.

Understanding of/experience with managing the donor life cycle, moves management, acquisition and retention best practice is considered a strong asset.

Experience with non-profit projects, programs and/or event management.

Interpersonal Skills And Self Management

Undergraduate degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Hybrid work environment (2 days in-office, 3 days remote per week) with occasional requirements to work outside of regular office hours.
