Experience either performing or supervising helicopter maintenance; six months of which has been within the preceding two years

Ability to manage and oversee AME’s and apprentices time and work-related tasks through a work order system and maintenance tracking system

Proven working knowledge of general aircraft repair, fabrication, and/or installation

Must have strong English (written and spoken) communication skills and pass the Transport Canada PRM interview

Remuneration 160K – 180K depending on experience.

Professional accounting designation (CPA) required, a Master’s degree in business, Leadership or other relevant field a plus!

Demonstrated expertise in strategic business planning, financial and operational planning and reporting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business process engineering

Expertise in development of operational and capital plans and related budgets

In a collaborative manner, establish building policies and guidelines regarding space management, core equipment, storage, and general building use.

Manage the MNI Facilities team, including team development and succession planning.

Manage special projects or requests related to facility structures, base equipment or researcher supplies.

Maintain administrative agreements; interact with the MUHC and McGill regarding shared space arrangements.

Member of the Montreal Neurological Institute Space Committee

CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) experience, including system. administration, implementation, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Collaborate with the Housing Experience Manager for maintenance of Banff and Waterton Staff Accommodations.

Knowledge of tools, procedures, technical skills and safety rules used in the maintenance and repair.

Manage engineering and maintenance concerns.

Create and manage annual capital and operating budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with relevant department heads.

Technical skills in modern building maintenance and repair techniques.

Related training, knowledge and understanding in arena refrigeration process, cemeteries, parks, pools, forestry an asset

Experience operating equipment; trucks, tractors with attachments, and front end loaders.

Experience operating power tools and hand tools.

Perform general maintenance and repairs of arenas, libraries, museums, cemeteries, community centres and other municipal administration facilities

Follow generally accepted maintenance and repair standards, administrative policies and practices and the County’s program of preventative maintenance

Over two years’ experience, to become familiar with scope of the position.

To maintain buildings and associated equipment in good repair and in attractive, clean condition for public service

Perform general maintenance and repairs of arenas, libraries, museums, cemeteries, community centres and other municipal administration facilities

Follow generally accepted maintenance and repair standards, administrative policies and practices and the County’s program of preventative maintenance

Provide assistance in the moving, relocation and set up of administrative office equipment and supplies as required by other departments

Assist with the operations of the cemeteries, ensuring compliance with municipal and/or provincial policies, procedures, by-laws

·Day to day active supervision of all conductors and locomotive engineers

Excellent planning and organizational skills - project management certification or experience is an asset

Solid knowledge and experience in Facilities Management

5+ years of management experience including the ability to motivate and engage a team

Direct, manage, and support all aspects of facilities management for West, Ontario and Atlantic locations (15-20 locations)

Develop and manage regional budgets and reporting requirements.

Manage external relationships including landlords, real estate agents and suppliers.

Manage departmental budgets and ensure an effective and efficient business model through sound financial management.

Possession of a Project Management certificate or a degree related to Aviation Engineering.

Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies to secure the best value services from vendors.

Contribute subject matter expertise to bidding activities and assist in the delivery of future contract mobilization plans.

Foster and strengthen business-to-business relationships within the Canadian Aviation market.

Proven track record of building a high-performing, safety-focused culture with strong engagement from team members.

Strong project management skills, with experience managing construction and renovation projects

Knowledge of provincial/federal requirements for major construction projects, as well as relevant regulations and codes related to facilities management

5 years of experience in facilities management, including experience supervising employees and overseeing third-party contractors

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with building and property management

Compliance and ownership of the site contractor management program

Post-secondary education, preferably in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business or Operations Management or a related Supply Chain Management program;

8-10 years of pertinent facility management experience with a proven track record;

· Direct environmental activities, recycling, and energy management, and ensure compliance with government regulations

PMP certification considered an asset;

Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze results and respond effectively and efficiently;

Very strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills;
