Corporate Hse Coordinator Jobs in Manitoba

Manage the department budget and create reports on expenses, services, safety inspections, and downtime statistics.

Manage all maintenance projects, including PM Program and Equipment Upgrade/Overhaul and evaluate them regularly.

Manage environmental, health, and safety activities through strong leadership, communication, motivation and direction of the safety committee

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong Organizational skills and Detail Oriented

Advanced MS Excel skills creating pivot tables, databases, graphs/charts.

Build mutually respectful and constructive relationships with project management teams, clients and front-line workers.

Works with management team to develop and maintain Project HSE Plans, Job Hazard Analyses and orientation programs.

Ensures that incident investigations are completed in a timely manner and corrective actions are communicated to Senior Management and appropriate stakeholders

Audits the Bird Health, Safety and Environmental Management System to ensure the overall integrity of the system is maintained;

Participates in the recruitment, onboarding and performance management of HSE Advisors on project sites.

Other duties as requested by management.

Strong communication skills, ability to interact with senior level clients including corporate management teams and institutional investors within Corporate Access

Expertise with event management tools (Ipreo, Salesforce, Q4)

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Knowledge of the Financial Markets industry, specifically sales, trading and investment banking.

A strong team player with the ability to self-manage

Verify and copy worker certification and trade qualification documents

Establish, chair and manage JHSC and ensure each trade has an elected member

Attend project start-up meetings and coordinate site specific health & safety requirements

Gather contractual documents prior to trades mobilizing onsite and advise the Health & Safety Manager to stop payment for outstanding documents

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role

Knowledge of HSE legislation in the Construction industry

Verify and copy worker certification and trade qualification documents
