The Manager of Corporate Services, can expect to focus their work in the following areas:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle multiple client requests and conflicting deadlines with confidence and appropriate level of management involvement.

Work with the Technology Project managers to transfer completed projects to fixed assets on a timely basis.

Experience in monitoring financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing, and analyzing financial information.

Experience providing financial advisory services.

Knowledge of IFRS, for operating and capital expenditure and financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and financial administration policies, processes and/or procedures.

Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Microsoft Power BI) Dashboards, creation, maintenance, and usage.

Experience in the public sector and/or municipal asset management would be desirable

Experience using Oracle Fusion would be considered an asset

Supports the monthly operational and capital budget variance analysis providing real time monitoring of budget status

Supports the preparation of annual budget related analysis and documentation

Prepares monthly revenue and expense statements for the corporation;

Supports City departments/divisions with their budget inquiries and monitoring including ad hoc reports;

Manage and respond to requirements of other lenders to help assist them in participating in CCG transactions.

Work experience in investment banking / corporate banking / corporate finance / corporate lending / financial advisory

Coordinate with all CCG groups including MMLIF, Mezzanine Finance and CCG to evaluate and originate new business.

Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance

Knowledge of Capital Markets, credit, credit metrics, and credit structuring

Professional oral and written communication skills

Maintaining good working knowledge of all services, policies, and procedures

Understanding the role and responsibilities of related support functions

In addition, the successful candidate will possess certification in ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations from a recognized organization.

Ensuring response time and resolution/fulfillment objectives are met

Providing drop-in support to students, employees, suppliers, and guests by providing accurate information

Monitoring, tracking, and communicating incident/request statuses

Assist with loan portfolio management, client strategies and related administrative duties

Work experience in Corporate Lending / Corporate Finance / Financial Analysis

Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills with an ability to analyze company financial statements and prepare financial models

Knowledge of credit, credit metrics, and credit structuring

Strong skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to source data/research

Support CCG bankers to structure, deliver, close, and monitor syndicated and bi-lateral loan transactions

Coordinates facilities management, such as building maintenance, vendor management, and project management.

Provides executive administrative support for Finance, Corporate Services, and related Board Committees.

Processes all lines of insurance coverage, including coordination with the insurance broker.

Provides recommendations, such as insurance policy coverage and the strategic direction of the organization’s real estate portfolio.

Has the ability to work independently to analyse information that informs decision making and approvals of critical workflows and processes.

Is effective in communicating and building relationships with individuals and service providers to support essential business functions.

Manage and execute account closure and offboarding requirements

Understanding of product life cycle management

Manage daily communication and prompt resolution of client margin inquiries across asset classes and currencies

Manage, maintain, and update client reporting

Ensure SGAS and its clients comply with both regulatory and house requirements

2+ years of relevant clearing/settlement experience

Support all CCG teams nationally and senior management to provide data and analytics solutions that support data driven decisions

Exposure to fast paced high performing teams and senior management

Perform database administrative duties including database maintenance, manage ETL processes, data cleanups and proactively monitor data quality

Manage Data Analytic team’s JIRA service desk and Confluence

Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in a business intelligence, data analytics, or data warehousing

Professional verbal and written communication skills

Proven analytical, organizational, project management and report writing skills.

Attend designated departmental management meetings to understand emerging financial needs and be the department’s financial advisor.

Assist with Corporate Finance responsibilities as required.

Advanced skills with financial reporting software, JD Edwards experience preferred.

Act as the primary liaison for the designated departments’ GM to Finance.

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
