Post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources Management, Business, Information Technology or in a related discipline.

Knowledge of change management principles and methodology.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)

3 years’ experience in human resources field

Knowledge of US employment standards and laws considered an asset

Complete administrative tasks for employee lifecycle events including, but not limited to, benefits, hiring, leaves, mobility, compensation, transfers and departures;

Manage a high volume of requests in an efficient and timely manner to meet daily/weekly quotas and service level agreements;

Offer support and advice to clients on various HR topics.

1+ years of experience in a corporate working environment (HR, administration/call center, professional services);

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

Knowledge of various types of legislations, laws, standards, & best practices relating to Human Resources, Payroll Administration and Information Management.

Minimum 1-year experience in Management Systems.

Verify daily timeclock punches, absences, and schedule changes by working closely with Supervisors and other managers on duty.

1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources with a focus in payroll.

Attention to detail is a significant skill set required for this position.

Excellent communication skills both written & verbal & training skills.

Work experience in high volume and fast paced environment with project management and overseeing multiple initiatives

Previous office management experience would be an asset

Develops and implements performance management programs. Monitors effectiveness of the plan and makes recommendations for changes.

Responsible for HR Operation and Employee Relations functions, including onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance and discipline, HRIS, health and safety, offboarding

Develops, writes and updates HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support the desired organizational strategy, structure, and legal requirements.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in progressive HR operations and employee relations

At least 10 years of experience in corporate governance, board development, talent management, or a related field

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with board members and executive management

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Advise executive management on all matters of board governance and board effectiveness

Stay current on developments in corporate governance and advise executive management on their implications for the company

Work with executive management to establish and maintain effective relationships between the board and management.

Support in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts within the P&O team.

§ Certificate/diploma in Human Resources Management or working towards

§ Working experience and knowledge of the current Employment Standards Act and all applicable legislation

§ General knowledge of employee benefit and plan administration
