Construction General Foreman Jobs in Nova Scotia

Ability to delegate responsibilities to meet safety needs, regulations, best practices, laws and project schedule

Report project status to Project Manager and Superintendent regularly

3+ years’ experience as a construction foreman

Experience with heavy civil construction - water mains, municipal infrastructure, sewage etc.

Knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, use, and OSH guidelines

Excellent organization and leadership skills

5) Superintendent experience is considered an asset.

- Red Seal Certification (preferably in plumbing or carpentry)

3) HVAC - replacing sensors, valves, igniting furnaces, heating shutdowns, preventive maintenance.

4) Electrical – thermostat install/repair, control valve connection replacement, general electrical repairs (switches, fixtures, receptacles).
