Construction & Maintenance Foreman Jobs

Looking for a construction foreman to service residential buildings. The Construction Foreman directs and performs skilled mechanical maintenance work in the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, renovations and basic electrical systems for residential multi-family buildings.

The right person will generally be independent.

1) Plumbing - clogged drains, tub & kitchen faucet/cartridge replacement, leak repairs, valves, domestic shutdowns, drainage and supply line repair.

2) Carpentry - floor installation (vinyl tiles, laminate, tiles), trim (windows + doors), painting (exterior/interior), pre-built kitchen and laminate countertop installation.

3) HVAC - replacing sensors, valves, igniting furnaces, heating shutdowns, preventive maintenance.

4) Electrical – thermostat install/repair, control valve connection replacement, general electrical repairs (switches, fixtures, receptacles).

4) Ability to work un-supervised.

5) Superintendent experience is considered an asset.

Minimal Qualifications

- Red Seal Certification (preferably in plumbing or carpentry)

- Drivers Class 5

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $39.00-$47.00 per hour
