Produce deficiency reports and follow up with sites and the company to ensure a smooth turnover to Asset Management

Create and update reports for, but not limited to, QC and Construction Management

Experience in residential construction industry in a relevant trade

Some knowledge of MS Office Suite and computer-related peripherals

Perform and maintain construction inspections and schedules

Analyze and ensure the execution of the work is being performed up to quality standards

Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience

Strong communication, negotiation and change management skills

Direct Reports: 6 Salaried Managers

Degree in Business, Engineering or related field experience with preference given to MBA

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Good knowledge of the land development and construction industry

Manage subcontractor relationships within assigned projects to maintain timelines and scope of work, and meet contact obligations

Journeyman trade certification with Gold Seal is considered an asset / Red Seal and/or Technical diploma

Five or more years of framing experience

Five or more years of commercial construction experience for a large General Contractor

Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the powerline trade

Previous experience in a Lead Hand or Foreman position

Excellent organizing and management skills to achieve time efficiency and meet deadlines

5 years of construction experience in residential, wood frame, multifamily construction

Demonstrated knowledge of all building techniques, building codes, and safety regulations associated with the construction of multi-story apartment buildings

Established excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Assessing competency and capability of tradespersons/ crew and providing training and coaching

Assigning and following up on crew tasks

· 5 years of Foreman / Supervisory experience

· 5 years civil works experience

· 3+ years equipment operation with fine grading experience (small dozer, excavator, skidsteer, telehandler, loader)

· MSE wall construction and backfilling of structures experience

Possess solid conflict resolution skills

Have thorough knowledge of general piping specs, client specific specs, ASME B31.3 codes

Effectively problem solve through coordination with management and engineering professionals

Handle creation of job duties and delegate tasks to site crews

Manage material takeoff and quantities

Relevant experience in the construction industry, required

Experience in innovative construction, an asset

Experience with concrete trade and/or carpentry trade, an asset
