Test, pilot, and document new professional services offerings

Ideally you have 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or have worked within a payroll processing environment

You have experience working in a customer service role or capacity

Knowledge of the Canadian payroll, tax and financial landscape is an asset

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You have your PCP Certification

Knowledge of internal controls, SOX documentation and control testing experience

Strong knowledge of Canadian Payroll rules/legislation and local/employment legislation a requirement

Ensure employee payroll deductions are properly calculated and deducted (benefits, wage garnishments, taxes)

Troubleshoot issues and errors with HR, Finance and employees as needed to ensure timely resolution

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience a plus

5+ years’ experience working in a payroll related position

Ideally you have 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or have worked within a payroll processing environment

Payroll Specialists should have knowledge of time clock systems, voluntary payroll deductions, federal/state/local taxation, and quality assurance

Manage, maintain and update Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and specific modules

Manage employee files (active and inactive), I-9s, etc

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Intermediate to strong skills in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook

Experience with PRISM and/or HR Pyramid preferred but not required

Computer Skills: Prefer proficiency with Embase, Ovid, Microsoft Word, and content management systems.

Demonstrates ongoing scientific expertise relevant to therapeutic areas, including products, disease state management, and emerging therapies.

Education: Advanced degree in pharmacy (PharmD preferred) or relevant, equivalent clinical experience.

Integrate scientific expertise with knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines to ensure comprehensive review of materials submitted into approval process.

Applied Learning - Ability to participate in needed learning activities in a way that makes the most of the learning experience.

Develop and review content for scientific documents including standard responses, dossiers and slide decks.

Prepare various payroll and management reports and support Finance with reconciliation of payroll taxes.

Advanced understanding of Excel, and database management; HRIS experience preferred.

Reviews and analyzes the benefits market in Canada to determine best practices, make recommendations to maintain market competitive offerings.

Maintain a working knowledge of employment legislation influencing pay and benefit programs.

Act as SME for our total rewards offering and provide advice and guidance to HR team and managers.

3+ years of progressive experience in payroll, pension, and benefit administration.

Provide training to clients and colleagues both face-to-face and remotely.

Project analysis of clients' requirements

Ensure that completed tickets are closed including those assigned to other staff

Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis.

Extensive experience in administering a multi-provincial payroll with strong knowledge of Employer Standards Acts and Federal requirements

Prepare and enter journal entries, and records payroll benefit invoices and payments, in MS Navision

Provide support to the Finance team as needed

5+ years of practical experience in processing full-cycle pay-runs

Relevant professional development completed to complement practical experience

Willingness to learn and enhance skills

Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies

Conduct Grand Rounds Presentations and clinical presentations on blood management

Experience in training and development of clinical education and programs

Support sales process through clinical education and ongoing value demonstration of the Hospital and TEG/Cell Salvage product line

Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base through clinical education of new users

Work with Territory Manager to maximize growth
