3-5 years high volume corporate third-party debt collections experience

Input and reconcile billings to internal software systems and the client cost and project management software systems

Conducts cost control analysis and provides ad hoc reporting to support the project teams and senior management

Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or a related field (preferred)

Proven experience (1-3 years) in billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Effective time management and organizational skills;

TRUX Route Management as well as Great Plains system experience are considered an asset;

Update management on overdue accounts;

Comply with all company policies, procedures and directives from management;

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

2 – 3 years of related experience and/or training in Accounts Receivable/Collections

Manage all billing and reporting activities in line with deadlines

1+ years of prior high volume collections experience

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

Guarantee the processing of payments

Strong prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Manage raw data for weekly and monthly end stats.

Conduct weekly account reviews with the Senior Manager to address potential debt concerns.

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Problem resolution skills and attention to detail.

Work closely with internal and external customers to address collection matters effectively.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Billing and Claims Support Specialist

Hands-on experience using accounting software

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices and claims

Follow up on pending claims and denials, and resolve any issues or discrepancies in billing

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and resolve claim-related inquiries

Strong prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Manage raw data for weekly and monthly end stats.

Conduct weekly account reviews with the Senior Manager to address potential debt concerns.

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Problem resolution skills and attention to detail.

Work closely with internal and external customers to address collection matters effectively.

Communicate and follow up when necessary, with the billing department, sales department, branch management, etc. to accelerate the collection process.

Escalate contract, purchase order or other billing issues to senior management.

French and English spoken/written communication skills (required)

Experience with Customer Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Service environment.

It is desirable for the incumbent to have previous commercial industry experience.
