Some sourcing experience in a Supply Chain Management organization.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management organizations.

College degree with 2 years purchasing experience supporting operations or manufacturing, or 2 years operations with strong commercial skill sets.

Manage all contact between Air Liquide and bidders.

Manage commercial risk for all purchases by assigned zone or business unit:

Take product inspiration and create, construct, and manage the production process;

Manage the entire product life cycle.

Maintain and analyze product categories and ensure the correct cost and product performance;

Visit competing retailers and identify product and retail pricing opportunities;

Find new suppliers by attending Trade Shows in Asia;

Identify and propose new product selection by spending time in our stores;

Project management skills – such as Gantt chart experience.

Diploma in a related field or combination of experience and education required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience conducting negotiations for the provision of third-party goods/services, and managing, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts an asset.

Experience working in cross-functional teams, leading sourcing initiatives/tenders such as RFIs, RFQs, and/or RFPs an asset.

Strong relationship building skills with internal and external contacts at various levels within the organization and across a variety of disciplines.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, creative problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Operations, construction management or related technical field, required

Excellent time and territory management skills

Develop, analyze, and manage business plans related to the customer database to effectively maintain and grow Tool Service Solutions

Identify the key customer roles and understand their responsibilities and needs; obtain

During Solution Implementations, define/manage overall project schedule; assign tasks/deadlines to project team as necessary during execution of work

7+ years diversified procurement or supply chain management experience.

3+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing / category management

Conducts competitive bidding (RFI, RFQ, RFP), vendor negotiations, contracts and purchase order creation and management.

Incorporation of best in class procure to pay processes, contract management principles, compliance management practices, and opportunities to increase innovation.

Conducts regular vendor reviews to drive strategic cost management initiatives, in collaboration with internal customers and Operational Procurement.

Facilitates engagement with cross functional partners to define business requirements and ensure alignment with category strategy, timelines, and priorities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, and significant relevant work experience.

Demonstrated product knowledge and strong ability to negotiate with global suppliers.

Experience with international transportation terms and procedures.

Researching and sourcing various products from overseas vendors, providing costing and terms for management review.

Developing and communicating quality standards, workmanship guidelines, and compliance requirements to vendors.

5 years of progressive import and overseas fashion sourcing experience.
