Minimum of one-year experience in an agriculture-related role, farming background preferred

John Deere agriculture equipment experience preferred with dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience a strong asset

Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office 365 and remote internet functions.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills

Understand cropping and agronomic practices delivering training on how they impact equipment configuration

Understand industry practices and equipment limitations to ensure adequate solutions for customer equipment needs

Knowledge of soils, drainage, nutrient management, insects, wildlife pests, weed management, trellising, canopy management, and crop harvesting and handling

Excellent organization, interpersonal, time management and computer skills

Transfer new technologies and management practices to industry via presentations and field days

An interest and aptitude in sharing knowledge and skills to various producer levels with excellent oral and written communication skills

Respond to viticulture inquiries (in-person and remotely)

M.Sc. in viticulture or equivalency preferred; a B.Sc. with several years of direct experience in viticulture would be considered

2-5 years of professional experience in related subjects.

Experience working in a developing country

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Language Requirements: Spanish Level 5-Fluent

Experience in computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word;

The incumbent needs strong skill sets in the following areas:

Perform greenhouse crop upkeep task including pruning, clipping, and tying up of plants.

Assist in tomato hybrid crossing in the greenhouse and field

Assist in seasonal operational tasks, such as seeding, transplanting, weed control, picking tomatoes for testing and seed data collection.

Cleaning of Greenhouse and designated work area

Report signs of insect or disease damage.

Assist in special projects, as needed.

Strong management and interpersonal skills

Experience in project management or coordination

Degree/diploma in GIS, Remote Sensing, Surveying, and/or Civil Engineering

1-2+ years’ experience in field drone operations related to the above industries

Ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities

Strong critical thinking and emotional awareness skills

Provide functional management and technical leadership of the team

Build and develop the team’s skills through personal skills development, continuous improvement initiatives, and knowledge transfer

Represent the team and its interests in management meetings and initiatives

Manage backlog and technical debt while balancing these with development initiatives

Anticipate and organize education and training of the team, with both external and internal sources

5+ years minimum experience in a software development role
