5 - 10 years of expertise and experience in Disability, Rehabilitation and Return to Work Case Management

Provide day-to-day oversight, quality assurance, budget monitoring, reporting and dministration of the disability management/rehabilitation contract,

Guide the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the Disability Management/Health Recovery Support Policy and related procedures/manuals, records retention,

Contract management and quality assurance including case management and processes and performance indicator outcomes,

In collaboration with the OHE Manager and Co-Source Provider, evaluate stakeholder satisfaction with the program/service.

A minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role

Applied Suicide Interventions Skills and Training (ASIST)

Personal experience accessing substance use services in the designated client population/community.

Knowledge of health concerns for the designated client population/community.

Knowledge of the substance use recovery and harm reduction system in British Columbia.

Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous Cultural Safety.

Demonstrated, knowledge of traditional healing practices.

Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of harm reduction in a health care setting.

Experienced completing comprehensive assessments and formulation to help inform treatment planning

Possesses strong clinical, organizational and documentation skills

Minimum five years of clinical experience working with individuals living with Substance Use Disorders and/or Concurrent Disorders.

Extensive training and experience providing time limited, evidenced based treatment, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Solid individual and group psychotherapy skills required and essential.

Knowledgeable with data collection tools.

Ability to demonstrate effective time management and disciplined self-organization

2 years post BSW-related clinical experience required

Knowledge and understanding of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM )

Previous experience working with clients with MHA's concerns preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of various treatment theories and practice of harmful involvement, harm reduction, motivational interviewing and stages of change

Knowledge of the field of addiction and addiction related programming and treatment

Minimum two years’ experience in a responsible secretarial position in a health-related field

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), Meditech, and Community-Wide Scheduling, with the ability to acquire additional skills

Accurate keyboarding skills with a minimum speed of 45 wpm with a maximum five (5) percent error rate.

Superior organizational, communication (listening, oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Ability to be flexible in adapting to changing operational requirements.

Grade XII plus successful completion of a recognized secretarial program and a medical terminology course

Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of theory and practice to a case management process.

Two (2) years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Broad knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counselling skills.

Knowledge of the principles of recovery in mental illness.

Broad knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction issues, treatment including non-violent intervention, and the recovery process.

Broad knowledge of other facilities and community resources.

Problem solve issues and provide feedback to Team Lead and Manager around program concerns and direction;

Assess and build on client’s strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences and resources

Medication monitoring and education; support with medication routines; completion of Medication Reconciliation procedure

Experience working in a residence setting

Knowledge of computerized documentation methods
