Significant teaching experience as well as a demonstrated ability to deliver this core music composition curriculum at the post-secondary level.

September 5 – December 6

Note: This year the course will focus upon chamber music composition.

Earned doctorate in music composition.

A record of creative achievement including commissions and major performances; and

Graduate degree or equivalent experience in jazz ensembles, jazz pedagogy, including free improvisation;

Maintaining sample library; receiving samples into PLM, filing samples according to season and sample stage

Use business domain knowledge to independently lead the analytics process to identify valuable and innovative insights

Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python or R

Experience with big data technologies, primarily in machine learning and statistics function

Experience with big data processing tools like Spark and Hive, GitHub functionality and workflow experience/exposure

Experience with messaging (Kafka, Solace, RabbitMQ) & working on Agile projects

Utilize the latest technologies available, designing and building data solutions to meet business needs

Previous post secondary teaching experience is a requirement.
