What You'll Do


The Product Development Coordinator Student will support the Product Managers, Product Developers, and cross-functional teams, through all stages of development, ensuring all product is meeting our consumers needs. This role will assist in the communication to our design, technical development, and merchandising teams, as well as daily communication with our overseas vendors and Internal Sourcing Teams.


  • Regular follow up on incoming production samples, material, and trim development
  • Visit stores on a regular basis to review final in store products, product knowledge and competitive market analysis
  • Work with Product Manager and Product Developers through Merch Sell in and Production
  • Maintaining sample library; receiving samples into PLM, filing samples according to season and sample stage
  • Communicating sample handoff to Technical Development Teams for Protos, SMS, Size Set, Pre-Production and Production
  • Assist in managing material and trim color requests and approvals for all development stages


What You Bring


  • A portfolio considered a strong asset
  • Equivalent industry training, certifications, or related business experience an asset
  • Working towards a Diploma or Degree in Fashion Marketing, Apparel Design, Business Administration, Product Development or a relevant discipline
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Past experience in retail an asset
