Job Description
Full time direct hire opportunity for Mig Welder.


Located in Woodbridge, our client manufactures production equipment.


Starting pay TBD.


Position Summary


Our client, a world-renowned manufacturer of food equipment is looking for a Welder to join their team in the Vaughan area.


Responsibilities


  • Work from routing sheets, blueprints and weld procedures as well as written and verbal instruction
  • Position, fit, grind, block, clamp and tack parts together for proper alignment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform full range of MIG and TIG welding
  • Knowledge to use a wide variety of tools
  • Weld in specified positions for pressure, strength and appearance on certified work
  • Exercise care in welding to ensure proper technique
  • Participate in daily production meeting


Requirements


  • 2-3 years' experience as a welder
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent diploma from a technical school preferred
  • Able to read blueprint and drawings
  • Able to move and manipulate heavy object /machine parts
  • Able to analyze plans for new equipment
