Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible for grinding and cleaning of gates on the parts.
Duties/Responsabilities

• Removing gating by holding castings flush to various belt sanders until the gating has been removed.
• Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
• Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills, looking up work instructions.
• Visual dexterity.
• Ability to handle hoists.
• Ability to handle castings weighting 10 oz up to 20 lbs
• Read, write and understand English.
• Manual dexterity.
• Uses sound judgment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Following Instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Education Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent

PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION

• None

Experience

• 3 to 6 months on the-job training required for acceptable proficiency.
