As a team member, you can expect to:

The appointee is responsible for driving growth by creating, assessing and managing business opportunities.This includes leading sales, marketing, and business development. The appointee will need to identify and explore ways of increasing market share in existing markets, entering new markets, product diversification, and developing strategic partnerships. The appointee will initially lead a team of 3 professionals.

This position will play a key role in developing the company’s business strategy and objectives to maximize individual and corporate performance. The position will work closely with the President and the Senior Management Team in monitoring, analyzing and improving sales and marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate should be self-driven, motivated and possess exceptional diplomatic skills to successfully manage multiple responsibilities. They must have a strong work ethic to effectively handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, demonstrating a proven sense of urgency.

As a team member, you can expect to:

Business Development:

·Guide and execute the growth strategy across the company’s focus areas.

·Identify, analyze and pursue potential business opportunities with existing and prospective clients to maximize growth and increase market share.

·Work with the senior management team to develop a long-term commercial strategy that aligns with the broader goals of the business.

·Monitor and analyze market data trends and competitive landscape to identify business development opportunities.

·Produce business plans for new product development and diversification.


Sales & Marketing:

·Provide leadership, strategic direction, management, motivation and coaching to a small team of professionals to drive achievement of aggressive sales growth targets.

·Focus on developing new business/potential client opportunities, ensuring future business and growth with both existing customers and new customers.

·Partner with Research & Development on coordinating all research efforts, product development initiatives, and sampling, based on each individual customer’s requirements and technical needs.

·Actively participate in creating pricing strategies, resolving pricing challenges, detailing special terms & conditions, and completing issue resolutions.

·Be accountable for annual revenue goals and other personal performance targets.

What we are looking for:

·Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent.

·A minimum of 10 years of sales management experience in the plastics, asphalt, or specialty chemical industries.

·You’re highly strategic and can balance both critical thinking and creative problem solving.

·You’re a proven people leader and talent developer, you care about your team and their success.

·Above all, you’re proactive, positive, and inspired by our client’s mission.

·Ability to negotiate contractual agreements to secure optimal terms.

·Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.

·Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.

·Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.

·Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.

·Experience in a B2B sales environment with value-added products.

·Strong knowledge of sophisticated sales tools, processes, metrics, and CRM systems.

·Willing to travel up to 50% - Mostly in North America
