We are looking for a motivated Vice President, Sales and Marketing to join our team!

Summary

Lead and manage the Sales team to achieve organizational goals. Implement go-to-market strategies, drive top line growth, and maximize the business profitability. Build a culture that creates values for customers and employees.

Responsibilities

Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)

• Interview and hire sales talents.
• Optimize RSM sales territories strategy, together with Sales Manager.
• Work with RSMs to achieve Sales and Booking budgets.
• Together with Sales Manager, lead and guide Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
• Build, implement, and execute sales growth and business development strategies.
• Conduct performance reviews and administer compensation plans for direct reports, Sales Manager, and RSMs.
• Drive initiatives to maximize cash collection.
• Work with RSMs during commercial negotiations and authorize discounts above 20%.

Strategic Marketing Duties

• Work with Marketing Manager / Assistants and conduct competitive market analysis.
• Recommend acquisitions to VPG.
• Review and edit/rewrite technical content of KELK literature, as required.
• Travel globally to close deals, understand industry trend, and develop new business. Ability to travel 20% of working time
• Approve style of KELK websites.
• Recommend R & D projects and priorities, with input from RSMs and agents.
• Attend international expositions and conferences to promote KELK products.
• Approve design and placement of KELK ads.
• Build and implement marketing strategy to grow top line revenue.
• Set prices of new and existing products, together with Sales Manager, to maximize margins.

Administration

• Travel in support of KELK and VPG global business.
• Approve quotations, REEEPS, and contracts.
• Develop contract strategy and negotiate contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements.
• Propose capital budget for the department and approve expenses.
• Organize and lead Sales meetings, participate in Operations meetings, and other meetings as required.
• Build cooperation with other VPG companies.
• Build sales/booking budget, make sales forecast, and prepare other reports for higher management as requested.
• Set policy on workflow systems and document them in standards.

Agents

• Recruit and train new agents as required.
• Monitor performance of KELK agents.
• Approve commission splits as required.

Kelk Oversee Office (KSO)

• Review and approve compensation of KSO staff.
• Approve staffing of KSO.
• Monitor operation of KELK Shanghai Office (KSO).

Qualifications

• Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering background. Conversant in International Business. General mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to communicate with confidence to OEMs and End Users on technical and commercial discussions.
• Experience in working with technical and commercial personnel associated with Steel industry or with OEM’s for the same industries. Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development and minimum 10 years in sales leadership position.
