Ultrasound Clinical Applications Specialist - National Role Supporting Cardiology And Radiology

The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) will deliver technical and clinical expertise within the Ultrasound portfolio by providing excellent education and training support to clinical end-users. These clinical experts will support the pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support), as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives for their geography. Responsibilities may also include ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. Roles and Responsibilities

• Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer.
• Monitor customer installations of ultrasound products within assigned territory/region to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships.
• Provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs
• Provide technical and clinical leadership to customers by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed.
• Develop and deliver product training on equipment use to customers in Radiology and Cardiology Ultrasound.
• Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training.
• Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively nationwide, with overnight stays depending on geography and business need.
• Experience in both General and Cardiac Ultrasound Imaging.
• Strong analytical thinking, for product troubleshooting.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as required by customer and business needs.
• Working knowledge of electronic file management and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to teach and train in an effective and organized manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License and passport.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in both Abdomen and Cardiac specialties.
• Minimum of five years of imaging experience in a diagnostic clinical setting, preferably a hospital environment.

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to build rapport, establish credibility and create a non-threatening environment for learning.
• Bilingual in English/French.
• Familiarity with advanced ultrasound technologies including: Elastography, Fusion Imaging, Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound, 4D, Strain, and TEE Imaging.
• Working knowledge of the Logiq and Vivid Ultrasound products.
• Experience in adult training, including presentation experience.
• Clinical experience in teaching hospital/university settings.

This position will support customer accounts nationwide. Candidates must be located proximally to a metropolitan, international airport.
