Job Title: Sales Director - Digital Media (Fractional Role, Remote, Commission-Based, Contractual)

Compensation: 100% Commission-Based, Uncapped

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Fractional Sales Director to join our team on a contractual basis. This part-time role is perfect for professionals who are looking for flexible work arrangements without compromising on the scope of their role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital media or ad tech companies, existing relationships within the digital media industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role is a 100% remote position and offers a 100% commission-based, uncapped compensation structure. The role reports directly to the founder of the company and has the scope to be converted into a permanent-full time VP of Sales role.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
  2. Leverage existing relationships within the digital media industry to generate new business opportunities.
  3. Understand client needs and propose customized digital advertising solutions.
  4. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular updates to the management team.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  7. Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  2. Proven sales experience in more than one digital media OR ad tech company.
  3. Minimum 5+ years' of experience in sales, with at least 2 years as a sales manager in a digital media OR adtech company in Canada.
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  5. Strong network and existing relationships within the digital media agencies in Canada AND/OR digital marketing teams in brands.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to innovate on the go.
  8. Experience in customer service is a plus.
  9. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with a commission-based structure.
  10. Must be currently residing in Canada.
