Currently, we are seeking a seasoned UAT Test Delivery Lead to join our team and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for a transformative project with a leading Canadian bank.

Role Overview: As a UAT Test Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of User Acceptance Testing for our esteemed end client, a prominent Canadian bank. You will lead a team of talented UAT testers, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive the execution of UAT plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of testing methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality UAT outcomes. This senior-level position requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret UAT results, identify defects, and work collaboratively with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
• Oversee the execution of UAT test cases, ensuring thorough testing coverage and accurate defect reporting.
• Manage UAT environments, data, and configurations to ensure test environments accurately simulate production environments.
• Continuously improve UAT processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and manage the UAT testing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Act as a point of contact for UAT-related discussions, presenting status updates, insights, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to define UAT objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive UAT strategies, plans, and test cases aligned with project requirements and business goals.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in UAT testing, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, as well as an understanding of test automation principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Previous experience working within the financial services industry, particularly with Canadian banks, is highly desirable.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate testing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of UAT methodologies, testing best practices, and defect management.
