Transportation Coordinator Jobs

Rydex Freight Systems, with 35 years in the business, is the largest transportation carrier specializing in expedite in Ontario. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our in-office Operations Team from Tuesday-Saturday (day shift) and Monday to Friday (afternoon shift). During the training period, coordinators will work in-office Monday to Friday on the day shift.
The Transportation Coordinator role the heart of our organization, where coordinators address customer inquiries, schedule shipments, and resolve any shipment issues.
Specifically:
Prompt response to shipment requests including cost-effective and creative solutions to fulfill requests
Dispatch and monitor shipments, process paperwork for customs clearances, relay shipment updates to customers
Maintain relationships with clients, drivers, and vendors
Operate within appropriate regulations and policies
Efficient order completion and administration to close shipments
Though an asset, no prior experience is required. Software proficiency in the following would be an asset: TMS Software, MS Office, Samsara, Chatterbox, Slack, BorderConnect, Adobe PDF editor.
