Overview

Join our Tax Development Team as a Tax Content Analyst 2 where we focus on updating our products for tax law changes and deep tax law analysis, all while working with a great group of people to enable consumers to maximize their tax refund, save more, and power prospersity.

Please note that Intuit Canada works on a hybrid work model; employees will be in-office on average 2-3x per week.

What You'll Bring

• Proficient at interpreting and communicating the most complex tax issues, as well as assessing the impact to developers and customers
• Comprehensive knowledge of tax research tools
• Bonus: public accounting and tax experience, CPA, CFE, or other similar certifications
• Technical expertise used to mentor and coach junior TAs
• Ideally 3-5 years of tax preparation and review experience and recent comprehensive understanding of SDLC and use of software best practices
• Continually assess and drive process and tool improvements.
• Communicate technical information at the appropriate level within the organization
• Able to effectively prioritize individual and team work to ensure delivery of the highest customer value
• Proficient in Canadian individual income and corporate tax domains

How You Will Lead

• Coordination and/or prioritization of activities across team and community leading to successful project completion. This can take the form of groomed backlogs and acceptance
• Innovative solutions to tax-related problems and compliance
• Develops standards for technical requirements of the tax content
• Research, analysis and documentation of Tax issues of high-to-highest complexity and diverse breadth
• Strategic analysis of tax issues and opportunities, with broad business impact
• Evaluate product features and enhancements, possibly in the form of offering roadmaps, epics and stories (done in partnership with the business
• Documented best practices that the Senior TA has ensured are broadly used and properly applied
• Estimates and sequencing of team activities as inputs to projects plans and sprint planning
