Minimum Requirements:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate engineering, business, or environmental science program at an accredited postsecondary institution
• Please attach your most recent transcripts with your application
• You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities:

• Assist with data analytics, modeling, and stewardship reporting
• Facilitate energy efficiency workshops across our Upstream and Downstream assets
• Provide support to development and execution teams to advance large-scale carbon capture and energy efficiency improvement projects
• Develop understanding of cost and economic data analysis and prepare communication materials for various levels of leadership within the organization
• Develop positive relationships and interact with business unit contacts to understand risks to project implementation

Location and other Key Details:

• Placements will be in part of the emissions reduction team
• This role may require occasional travel to our operating sites in the Wood Buffalo Region
• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
• You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
• This is a 8 or 12 month work term starting in September 2023
