Role Purpose
The Sustainability and Corporate Communications Manager supports successful external communication of RRMC’s corporate and strategic topics (ESG, sales results, sales strategy, corporate strategy etc). The role also supports strategic global positioning through external communication of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as a leading House of Luxury.
Key Accountabilities
  • Helps safeguard the reputation of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars through effective pro-active and reactive communication and media engagement, including crisis communications support where required.
  • Co-ordinates and produces press releases, photography, speeches, press packs, and other assets to achieve positive luxury / lifestyle / business coverage on a global scale.
  • Works with regional communications colleagues to support positive coverage in target global luxury / lifestyle / business media, increasing international reach and enhancing global brand appeal.
  • Meticulously manages agencies to deliver brand-relevant and corporate communications to a high standard and within budget.
  • Supports the Head of Global Luxury and Corporate Communications.
  • Consults on and supports design and execution of a strategic communications plan to position Rolls-Royce Motor Cars clearly as a global, leading, House of Luxury and a highly successful, innovative business.
  • Communicates effectively to media to support positive coverage in target luxury / lifestyle / business media in all global markets.
  • Plans, manages and executes media-facing projects to support positive corporate and brand coverage in target luxury / lifestyle / business media in all global markets, with an emphasis on sustainability and other ESG topics.
  • Influences positive public perception of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as a leading House of Luxury and an innovative, highly successful business.
  • Executes strategic management of corporate Twitter and LinkedIn accounts, CEO LinkedIn account and corporate YouTube channel to enhance and support brand and corporate positioning with the wider public and influential persons.
  • Supports Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ primary media spokesperson on luxury, brand and corporate topics, in particular sustainability topics.
  • Manages appointed agencies to assist with luxury / lifestyle / business communications, including logistics and event management.
Qualification:
  • Experience of budget management
  • Good level of experience with a luxury brand and / or sustainability communications is essential.
  • Willingness and ability to provide support wherever necessary to ensure success of projects and events.
  • Excellent understanding of social media in a corporate communications context.
  • Bachelor’s degree at 2:1 or above
  • Outstanding level of written and verbal communication.
  • Significant organisational, scheduling and coordination experience.
  • Significant experience in public relations, having maintained direct contact with the most highly influential media throughout.
  • Sensitivity, patience and diplomacy – an excellent team player.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of global lifestyle/luxury/business media and direct, personal contact to leading journalists at the relevant outlets.
