Job Description
At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

We are looking to expand our team of professionals focused on providing high value, independent, trusted advice to our clients as they transition to a more sustainable economy. Our Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCASS) team is growing exponentially, and as a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability (C4S) analyst, you’ll play a key role in that growth with the provision of advisory services.

Working across many industries, you’ll develop your career by communicating creative, strategic goals both internally and externally. It’s all about listening to and understanding our clients to give them a truly exceptional experience in a field where there really are no off-the-shelf recommendations.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability analyst, the nature of this role requires diversity and flexibility, where no two projects will be the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas. Regular travel across Canada will be required as you will be meeting with key clients, some of those being the most respected in their fields. You will be responsible to:

  • Write proposal and response to RFIs and RFPs issued by clients
  • Prepare and deliver MS C4S product messaging to highlight value proposition and unique differentiators
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
  • Support the C4S solution architect to establish the C4S practice as the part of Climate Change and Sustainability digital team at EY
  • Support the technical assessments of current state of enterprise architecture and architect a path for transformation into a cloud enterprise
  • Act as the business analyst to design and develop applications within MS C4S ecosystem including Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Page, Power Virtual Agents and Dataverse
  • Stay educated on new and emerging technologies/patterns/methodologies and market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.
  • Work directly with clients to collect and identify functional requirements as well as support various projects and solutions

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work with incomplete and vague requirements
  • Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders including C-Levels, both verbally and in writing

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in Microsoft cloud related platform and technologies
  • Conduct full technical discovery, identifying pain points, business and technical requirements, “as is” and “to be” scenarios.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience configuring and supporting Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and other low code application development platforms
  • Appropriate Dynamics and/or Power Platform related Microsoft Certifications
  • Experience working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, Azure (PaaS, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.).
  • Experience working in Agile projects and liaising between technology teams and business users.
  • Understanding of relational (SQL) and non-relational databases, experienced in Microsoft .NET Full Stack Development, Front-End Development with HTML, JavaScript and known JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
  • Understanding of common industry standard business practices supported by Power Platform and its applicability to the client business, especially in the domain of sustainability
  • Experience in performing as-is and to-be cloud solutions, crafting architectural options and analysis, finalizing preferred solution working with IT and business stakeholders
  • Experience with customization, configuration, security, integration and extensibility of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and its first-party applications as well as the Power Platform (Canvas Apps, Power Automate Flow, Power Apps & Power BI)

What We Look For

We’re interested in versatile people with the ability to take on new responsibilities and listen to clients to get things done. We’re not just looking for environmental experience — we’re after genuinely interesting people with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and think in unique and creative news ways.
