OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of the job is to provide the required Technical Support to plant operations to ensure that the plant is constructed, maintained, and operated safely and efficiently. Also to provide conceptualization, evaluation, design, and implementation of projects. The Mechanical Superintendent sees to it that equipment and structures in the plant are properly designed and constructed according to established industry, design, engineering, and other applicable standards.

The Superintendent, Project Execution is directly accountable for the key business processes: PROJECT EXECUTION & MANAGEMENT; CAPEX MANAGEMENT.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensures that Engineering design, simulation, and information tools are available and customer requirements are addressed.
• Provides Engineering support for Expansion Projects.
• Supervises discipline engineer's adherence to company rules, safety, policies, and standard procedures.
• Manage the engineering of all plant projects and ensure that the projects are engineered and designed according to standards and industry best practices.
• Liaise with Plant operations and other customer departments. Attend operational and projects/construction meetings. Updates plantwide operation and priorities of various activities.
• Manages manpower and other supply contracts within the department.
• Ensures that the EDDMS system is available, updated, and intelligent wherein drawings and documents are complete, updated, and available to all plant customers.
• Evaluates Technical Service Requests, comprising of feasibility studies, conceptual studies, FEED/Basic Design to ensure that the designs shall benefit the company when implemented.
• Provides Technical Support and advice to plant operations, finance, administration, and other corporate customers.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to analyze the business and set the maintenance right medium- and long-term strategy and objectives.
• Fundamental understanding of business management systems for EHS, quality, and production.
• Fluent in English (oral and written) is required.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management preferably Fertilizer/Petrochemical /Power Plant.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex assignments, simultaneously, with high and long-term impact.
