Job Summary

As an integral part of the project team the Site Superintendent will supervise and coordinate all site related construction activities to achieve project success. Icon Developments Inc is looking for a qualified individuals for upcoming projects in the Moncton area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Icon Developments safety program.
• Ensure quality assurance is maintained.
• Prepare detailed RFI’s for review by consultants.
• Participate in field reviews and inspections.
• Maintain daily reports of construction activities and visitors.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Consultants, and Inspectors to execute project drawings.
• Assist Project Manager in development of project schedule.
• Maintain consistent internal communication with the project team on all matters related to site activities,

lookaheads, site incidents, errors in the work.

• Always maintain clean and organized jobsite.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• PTech, CET, GSC or trade certification preferred;
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and monitoring safety programming.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Jonas Premiere.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Minimum of 7-10 years demonstrated supervisory experience in complex commercial, industrial, or high-rise building construction.
• Valid First Aid certification is an asset.
• Sound knowledge of construction technology, ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications.
• Ability to interpret and shop drawings.
• Experience working with formwork systems and cranes.

Compensation package will be dependent on experience.
