Desired Skills and Experience*

- 1-4+ years of engineering experience

- Working knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems, including electricity distribution, DCW and DHW systems, fan coil/heat pump systems in multi-family and commercial buildings

- Experience with the following; Analyzing data, providing insights, Reviewing diagrams, blueprints and single line charts; Creating best practice documentation; Testing new equipment and providing recommendations

- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills

- Must have access to a vehicle and hold a valid G license

Plusses

- Familiarity with the appropriate regulatory bodies in this space: Measurement Canada, Electrical Safety Authority, TSSA, OEB, Industry Canada, CSA

- Understanding of common communication protocols (MODBUS, BACNET) and networking protocols (DHCP,TCP/IP, FTP)

Insight Global is looking tohire a Metering Enablement Engineer tojoin a dynamic team with a focus on assessing, integrating, and introducing new technologies, services and processes to the business. You will be apart of a teamwhich is responsible for defining design standards and best practices, leading cross-functional integration projects across departments/subsidiaries, conducting energy analysis of multiple commodities, and performing other ad-hoc technical tasks. The ideal candidate will either be a new grad/jr engineer with relative co-op and schooling experience or an individualwith 4+ years of technical experience.
