OBJECTIVES

  • Thoroughly understand in order to analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands-on approach to day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Builds team members and team to align with company culture, increasing performance and retention.
  • Works to maximize the company's operating & quality performance (post-market surveillance - systemic procedure to review experience gained from devices in the postproduction phase and to implement appropriate means to apply any necessary corrective actions)
  • Manages sales cycle from deal submission to delivery and receipt of payment.
  • Executes & manages the company’s Operational Plan (strategic & operational goals, KPIs)
  • Oversees operations activities in the company, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization.
  • Contributing player to achieving the company's financial goals (receipts, invoices, revenues, sales, cash flow, overall profitability)
  • Provides input on operational infrastructure improvements and scalability.
  • Directly involved in cross-company RA/QA + Risk Management processes with the manufacturer (complaints handling, CAPA investigations, adverse event reporting, service handling, license renewals, non-conformance, etc.)
  • Creates Operational resources and tools.
  • Directly involved in supply chain management with critical suppliers: (1) sourcing and managing of suppliers, (2) production line management (testing protocols, compliance protocols, packing & storing, release), (3) delivery processes (warehouse management, inventory management, logistics), (4) returning processes.
  • Works closely with manufacturer production teams to ensure current challenges are identified and addressed and the forecast is met.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
  • Hands-On Solution oriented & strategic thinker
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and team member management
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
  • Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Five or more years in a senior leadership role in a field related to our industry.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.


PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • In-depth experience in scaling up operational activities and supply chain management.
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: ERP, CRM)
