As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.


About The Role


We are currently seeking a detail oriented and energetic team player to support the growth of our business. You will be responsible for driving revenue performance and continuous improvement projects. This is a diverse position that would be appealing to a self‐starter who enjoys a varied workload and the opportunity to apply their knowledge in differing business environments. The position provides revenue reporting to WESCAM senior leaders on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take true ownership of this area of expertise for L3Harris WESCAM’s finance team.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Report revenue risk and opportunities and assist in developing action plans to close
  • Business partner to the Program Management department
  • Liaise with operations, supply chain, business development and program management to ensure action plans are tracking to closure
  • Lead continuous improvement projects
  • Prepare daily closure call presentation for WESCAM Senior Leadership
  • Lead weekly revenue meetings with program managers and support staff
  • Liaise with cross function groups to develop enhanced data reporting
  • Engage with WESCAM and Corporate accounting teams to ensure revenue recognition criteria is met
  • Provide daily, weekly and quarterly revenue reporting to WESCAM Senior Leadership
  • Partner with program management to identify opportunities to accelerate revenue
  • Continuous Improve Projects
  • Provide financial guidance and support to Program Management
  • Challenge revenue owners to accelerate revenue recognition
  • Support cost center owner on monthly indirect cost budget
  • Develop reporting tools to promote self-serve data analysis


Required Capabilities


  • Work consists of making significant improvements of processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance performance of job area with a strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Open, honest customer-centric attitude
  • Advanced knowledge in other MS Office suite software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong presentation capability to Senior Leaders
  • Basic knowledge of dashboard software like Tableau and Power BI preferred, not mandatory
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Power Query considered an asset
  • Basic relational database knowledge and SQL preferred, not mandatory
  • Knowledge of database concepts, capabilities, and consolidating big data
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent ERP navigation skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with related key managers and support staff
  • Knowledge of ERP LN is an asset
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Desired Education and Experiences


  • CPA/CA/CMA/CGA or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • May have in-depth knowledge of project management.
  • Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
