Software Quality Assurance Analyst (Hybrid)

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist within the Gateway Software Development group, you will write and execute (manual and automated) test cases for our back-end gateway systems and certify the software release before it is DevOps deploy it on client certification platform.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to Director, Software Development and Architecture.
Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do

• Contribute to the design and development of manual and automation scripts.
• Review functional and technical documentation to identify requirements for test plans, test cases and test scripts and provide feedback.
• Create with test strategies and test data to support testing across multiple test environments.
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work on multiple projects together, provide accurate effort estimation and adapt to changes.
• Set up JMeter for performance and stress testing.
• Create and execute software test plans and test cases.
• Create Postman test collections for regression and smoke API testing.

Your Moneris Career - What You Bring

• Extensive knowledge of OpenAPI , REST API, and JSON.
• Experience writing and executing test cases using Jira
• Knowledge of Database technology –Microsoft SQL Server and Linux.
• Experience in the following testing tools: Postman, JMeter and Junit
• Experience setting up testing tools and automation environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing of mission-critical systems including strong REST API testing skills.
• Experience in design and rollout of SDLC process.
