Software Product Lead Co-Founder

TandemLaunch is on the cusp of launching a software venture that revolutionizes compute capabilities by enabling GPU-level computation on the CPU, resulting in a significant reduction in compute time. This breakthrough technology has the potential to transform industries reliant on high-performance computing. We’re currently looking for a product co-founder for this project.

TandemLaunch is a unique Canadian start-up foundry. We create cutting-edge technology companies based on research taken straight from major university labs. We focus on commercializing innovations in consumer electronics, hardware-enabled technologies, and artificial intelligence. As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, you will be the heart of our start-up foundry and the innovative drive behind our success.

What you’ll get to do

• Develop a profitable start-up by leveraging your research skills and technical expertise
• Design and implement a technological roadmap to develop a minimum viable product in 18-24 months
• Provide scientific leadership and guidance to your team to validate your product’s core functions
• Work with cutting-edge technologies from world class laboratories in the deep-tech sector
• Identify patentable intellectual property and execute technical due diligence to create your startup’s patent portfolio

What we’re looking for

• Impeccable communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
• 2-5 years of hands-on software product sales experience minimum (familiarity with high-performance computing and GPU/CPU technologies is a plus)
• Experience in software sales, specifically SAAS (Software as a Service), and business development roles is a plus
• Experience working in teams developing innovative software products to scalable implementation.
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter, innovative, creative, and goal-oriented personality
• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
