We are seeking a talented student intern to join our team and work on the development of post-processor software with hardware security for CNC engraving machines. As a software engineering student, you will work on designing, developing, and installing software solutions that meet the company’s operational requirements.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant R&D team and contribute to:
• Design and develop software solutions that meet the operational feasibility of the project.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Conduct systems analysis and recommend changes in policies and procedures to improve operations.
• Follow the software development life cycle and ensure that all software solutions are tested, validated, and verified.
• Investigate problem areas and provide innovative solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential and implementing hardware security measures.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Accomplish engineering and organizational missions by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications / Skills:
• General programming skills and experience with C# or C++.
• Strong software design, debugging, documentation, and testing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
• Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, the software development process, and software requirements.
• Knowledge of application architecture and design patterns, professional software engineering practices, and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in C# or C++, and object-oriented design skills.
• Experience with application architecture and design patterns.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
