Software Engineer Coop - Flutter & C++

This position is only open to current post-secondary students who have a co op component to their studies.

SkyAcres is looking for a passionate and creative Software Engineer / Developer or equivalent to work closely with our CEO and CTO to help us build and design the next generation of produce growing systems. Short Description:

The candidate will use software engineering concepts and skills to develop a mobile application in the Flutter framework, and will use C++ to program microcontrollers to be used in our vertical farming systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

A current computer science or software engineering student in an accredited bachelors or masters program

OR

A current STEM student in an accredited bachelors or masters program with significant software engineering experience.

The candidate will learn new agritech concepts & skills and apply them to build and improve the SkyAcres growing systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ Years of experience in each of:

• Signal Processing
• SQL
• Java
• Dart
• C++
• Flutter & Firebase

Nice To Have:

Experience in:

• Additive manufacturing / 3D printing
• Mechatronics concepts
• OpenCV
