Objectives

• Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and implement best practices to improve social media presence
• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads
• Manage and maintain all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and social media platforms to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of social media marketing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with overall marketing strategies
• Create compelling and high-quality content for social media channels, including text, image, and video content
• Analyze and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Competencies

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Team player with excellent collaboration skills
• Fluency in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Proficient in using social media management and analytics tools
• Analytical skills to measure and interpret social media performance metrics
• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies

Education And Experience

• Proven experience in managing social media platforms for business purposes
• Familiarity with shipping or logistics industry is a plus

Physical Requirements

• This role is primarily office-based, requiring long periods of sitting and working on a computer.
• Some travel may be required for attending industry events and conferences.
