Job Description

Job Overview

Blume is on a mission to make wellness simple and fun. We use proven superfood ingredients to reinvent familiar drinks you know and love. We are growing fast and are looking to add a Social Media Intern to our team. This role is work-from-home remote within Vancouver, B.C. and reports to our Social Media Manager.


You will support our marketing team by creating and editing brand assets for use across social media and paid ads, and by sharing content across all social media platforms.


This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an opportunity to go full-time.


Responsibilities

  • Support marketing team as needed
  • Film and edit UGC style videos for paid ads
  • Organize and maintain design assets and working files
  • Edit short form storytelling videos for TikTok
  • Film and edit recipe videos for all social platforms
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to photoshop images, create graphics, GIFS, and animations to support new product launches and brand campaigns
  • Utilize Canva to create Instagram stories and reel covers
  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager to ensure that all content is consistent and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Identify trending templates and audios
  • Prepare posts, write captions and upload content to social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Film short form educational talking head videos for TikTok


The Perfect Candidate Is

  • A natural storyteller
  • Someone who is well organized, has a great attention to detail, and is a fast learner
  • Passionate about social media (particularly TikTok), content creation, and digital marketing
  • Comfortable in front of a camera
  • Able to execute creative assets with a tight turnaround time
  • Able to use their eye for design, great musicality, and copywriting skills to create engaging content
  • Up to date on social media and pop culture trends


Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in social media, content creation, graphic design, and video editing
  • Experience with Capcut, Canva, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Proficient with social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook
