Job Description

Visionary Creative Studio is looking for a part-time or freelance assistant and social media manager. We are a creative studio catering to the fashion & music industries, specializing in creative direction, social media marketing, web design, and brand development. You will enjoy this role if you're passionate about R&B, rap/hip hop, high fashion, street style etc.


The position is hybrid, mostly taking place remotely. You will only be required to be on-site for photoshoots, video shoots, content shoots, style fittings etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Organizing invoices, expenses etc.
  • Attending shoots & fittings to capture behind-the-scenes footage
  • Copywriting
  • Community engagement
  • Organizing Google Drive & DropBox files
  • Editing pictures, recap videos etc.
  • Working alongside the creative director to draft monthly content strategies and create content for Visionary Studio's Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Scheduling, organizing and attending client meetings & shoots, and assisting in project management
  • Posting on stories


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred (but not required) 1+ years of experience in basic video filming, photo taking and editing
  • Have a genuine interest & passion to grow in the music & fashion industries
  • Must be able to attend meetings (typically virtual), photoshoots, video shoots, style fittings, events etc.
  • Must have a working computer and mobile phone/iPad to work from
  • Required 1+ years of social media marketing experience
  • Efficient with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, and video editing apps such as CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects etc.
  • Must reside in the Greater Toronto Area


Due to the nature of this position and its requirements for 1 year of social media marketing experience, if you are interested in this role but do not have the above requirements, but would like to learn, an unpaid internship is also possible for social media marketing alongside a paid role for basic assistant duties.
