In the role of Site Electrical Buyer, you will report to the Electrical Coordinator and be responsible for procuring electrical materials directly at our construction sites, in close collaboration with the existing electrical team.

What you'll do/Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and addressing any issues related to out-of-stock products, reconciling delivery notes with purchase orders, and approving invoices.
• Coordinating transportation and ensuring the timely delivery of materials.
• Engaging in negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Procuring materials required on-site.
• Providing and submitting price and delivery quotations, preparing material requisitions, and ensuring timely delivery based on construction schedules.
• Generating and obtaining approval for purchase orders.
• Receiving purchase requests from Electrical Field Engineers, Electrical Coordinators, and Electrical Project Managers.

By carrying out these duties effectively, you will contribute to the smooth procurement process and the timely availability of electrical materials at our construction sites.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING?

• Microsoft Office Suite necessary including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Extensive knowledge of suppliers and distributors for electrical components such as Wesco and Guillevin
• Over 3 years of experience related to electrical equipment procurement.
• Multi-task and follow tasks from inception to closure.
• Ability to efficiently source and purchase electrical components while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
• Highly autonomous and able to manage emergencies.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills.
• Proven experience in procuring high and medium-voltage parts for past projects
• Familiarity with various companies that supply electrical distribution components. Such as switch gears, electrical equipment for substations, etc
• Experience within the electrical construction supplier business.
• Knowledge of French, is an asset.
• Strong electrical components knowledge is mandatory.
