Receiving purchase requests from Electrical Field Engineers, Electrical Coordinators, and Electrical Project Managers.

Strong electrical components knowledge is mandatory.

Extensive knowledge of suppliers and distributors for electrical components such as Wesco and Guillevin

Proven experience in procuring high and medium-voltage parts for past projects

Receive purchase requisitions from Electrical Field Engineers, Electrical Coordinators and Electrical Project Managers.

Over 3 years of experience related to electrical equipment procurement.

Excellent communication and relationship skills.

Highly autonomous and able to manage emergencies.

Experience within the electrical construction supplier business.

Knowledge of French, an asset.

Detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills.

Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Planning or Materials Management.

Work with Commodity Managers, Operations and Engineering on supplier transitions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.

Critical thinking and negotiation skills.

Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase

Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.

Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)

Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan

Manage initial issues before escalation to line manager

Communication skills & Team spirit

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, Preferably in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Distribution, or related area of study

Maintain close communication with Project Managers ensuring payments are made on-time and are accurate to the budgeted value

Previous experience purchasing indirect services or jobsite experience desired

Source, quote, and purchase indirect services and supplies to support a fast-moving modular construction environment

Work directly with vendors to communicate orders and maintain payment schedules
