Junior Buyer Jobs

Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Junior Buyer will be an integral part of Blackline’s growing supply chain team. You will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, material availability, and implementing measures to mitigate risks in supply chain.

What You Will Do

• Manage purchase orders actions such as expediting, rescheduling, and following up with suppliers.
• Execute responsibilities in a fashion consistent with the highest ethical standards
• Establish and maintain courteous, professional, and effective communications relationships with suppliers, partners, customers, and employees
• Monitor pipeline health of the supply chain
• Manage life cycles for materials, parts, and services
• Work with accounting on resolving invoice issues
• Create, release, and confirm purchase orders with suppliers
• Set and help manage Kanban bins
• Assist in development of standards, policies, and work instructions for the procurement department

What We Need From You

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems (Blackline is currently using NetSuite)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Post-secondary certification in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or other applicable area preferred
• Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in preferably within the electronics industry
