Job Description


This role understands the business impact of organizational development (OD) and DEI to engage and influence internal global stakeholders, embed best practices into our Great-West Lifeco (Lifeco) HR processes, and drive achievement of our global companies’ collective Lifeco business imperatives.


Success will be achieved as you:
  • Provide support for local development of action plans aligned to Lifeco priorities and local needs, as required
  • Partner with and provide consultation for various Lifeco stakeholders and leaders to:
  • Identify opportunities for synergies, collaboration, sharing of proven local and best practice resources, and economies of scale for procurement
  • Collaborate and provide support and leadership where OD & DEI support is needed
  • Leverage influence to lead, support and collaborate with our global Lifeco DEI Committee to:
  • Support the execution of our overarching Lifeco OD and DEI strategies through leadership of identified initiatives to inform progress and achieve our collective Lifeco goals. (i.e., representation goals, corporate purpose/ social impact, reporting etc.)
  • Identify opportunities for synergies, collaboration, sharing of proven local resources, and economies of scale for procurement
  • Execute on strategic global solutions to address common Lifeco Corporate Function needs, in support of the achievement of collective Lifeco goals
  • Support development of strategic solutions for inclusive leadership capabilities, equitable approaches for people-based decisions, and a culture of belonging to support high performing talent
  • Partner to provide best practice leadership to advance DEI maturity and the achievement of our collective Lifeco DEI goals
  • Manage collective Lifeco wide data (i.e., OD & DEI metrics & DEI related engagement survey data) collection, consolidation, analysis, insights and executive reporting to inform strategic approaches for progress and reporting to Lifeco Corporate Functions, and various public disclosures for Power Corporation and Lifeco.


What You Will Bring


  • Excellent project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience developing and advancing OD & DEI measurement strategies through meaningful insights to drive data-based decisions across various geographies
  • Proficiency of MS Office with a focus on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills to develop relationships, lead through influence, and collaborate across various organizational levels and geographies
  • University degree related to Human Resources, Equity Studies, Social Sciences or equivalent experience in OD, DEI, HR, Business, or related field
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Ability to manage ambiguous situations and environments across global companies
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience
  • Strong presentation skills and deck creation to influence support and action
  • Experienced in conducting in-depth best practice research for viable solutions to drive action
  • Proven ability to adjust communication style based on the audience and communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders
