As Sr Software Engineer in OMS & Order Services team, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Project Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, Design and Lead a development team. You will ensure that the OMS & Order Services platform is well designed using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability for growing global eCommerce. A day in the life...

• Ability to provide project estimates and lead technical teams to consistently meet commitments.
• Provide L3 support for Production issues
• Provide technical expertise in establishing processes and procedures to ensure standards are followed.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to extend the capabilities of the Sterling OMS platform.
• Work in-concert with numerous other technology teams to ensure Sterling OMS and associated applications properly interface with the digital platform
• Design a solution that is scalable, adaptable and in-line with digital platform requirements, liaising effectively between IT & Business Leadership
• Provide technical guidance to team on Sterling Web Store/ Sterling Web Call Center customizations
• Provide technical leadership & mentorship for OMS development team
• Develop Java based extensions of Sterling OMS, Java/EE, XML, XSLT and Oracle and Middleware technologies.
• Analyze business requirements, Lead in design sessions and code reviews of extensions and customizations of the Sterling OMS development framework.
• Support a wide range of technology projects using Sterling OMS – including configurations, software development, installation of patches and upgrades, etc.

We'd love it if you have...

• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in migrating On-Premise systems to Cloud is considered valuable
• Experience with Services, DevOps, Delivery.
• At least 2+ year experience in leading and mentoring Engineers
• Experience working with high transaction systems
• Support troubleshooting through solid analytical reasoning
• Hands-on experience on developing Java Spring boot applications is desired
• 8+ years in in developing / implementing / customizing IBM Sterling Commerce Distributed Order Management and Inventory Visibility
• Strong knowledge & hands-on experience on Sterling Web store customizations
• Experience in leading multiple work tracks in a multi-site team model
• 6+ year experience in developing Servlet/JSP/Filters, Java Web Services, or related skill.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction be a self-starter with strong initiative, and ability to manage/execute workload to deliver high quality results.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
