Job Description
Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Senior Researcher.


Responsibilities:


  • Write and submit patentable inventions or research papers (at top-tier conferences)
  • Collaborate closely with researchers and product teams to help them improve software development activities and integrate your solution into the product
  • Insight investigation into new technology trends and promote the overall improvement of Huawei's software engineering capabilities based on LLMs by introducing industry-leading technologies, tools, standards, best practices, and independent innovations
  • Conduct and apply LLMs (Large Language Models) to design and implement intelligent technologies for improving various software engineering research tasks


Job requirements


What you’ll bring to the team:


  • Background on LLMs technology such as GPT/BERT/T5
  • Ability to use intelligent technology to conduct software code analysis
  • MS or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, related Machine Learning field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • A highly self-motivated learner and team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is an asset
  • Experience with LLMs building is an asset
  • Ability to develop code detection, defect detection, defect repair, log generation, etc. based on LLMs is an asset
  • Ability to skillfully apply LLMs related technology to conduct technical research in the field of software engineering
  • Ability to search, recommend, complete and generate code (business code and test code) based on LLMs is an asset
  • Ability to extract, abstract, express and generalize software knowledge/code knowledge using AI or large model
  • Candidate who have published research papers on top conferences or journals in the field of software engineering (ICSE, FSE, ASE, ISSTA, TSE, TOSEM) is an asset
