User Researcher Jobs

A large retail client of ours is looking for a User Researcher with past experience in Service Design. The candidate will go biweekly to the client sites to interact with customers\users to better understand what service design initiatives can be implemented for a top tier service experience. The rest of the time will involve create human-centered innovation design plans and presenting it to leads and executives.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

* Conduct in-store user research and identify user needs and pain points

* Facilitate workshops with program leads and executives

* Continuously gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve the overall service experience

* Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders

Must-Have Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in service design or a related field

* Strong portfolio of service design projects

* Experience with design thinking, human-centered innovation, jobs-to-be-done framework, etc.

* Experience with user research and usability testing

* Proficient in design tools such as Miro

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Experience working in an Agile environment

This role is on a 12 month contract basis, with possibility of extensions. This role pays 30-35\hr based on experience.
